Taking off against climate change: The “Solar Butterfly” spreads its wings

Klimawandel

On Monday, 23 May 2022, environmental activist Louis Palmer started his world tour against climate change in his self-built, solar-powered caravan. In keeping with the motto “start instead of wait”, BRUGG Group AG also participated in this project together with BRUGG eConnect AG. We were delighted that the launch event could take place at our Brugg site and that we were able to organise a varied programme for the public and its employees.

We were very pleased about the consistently positive coverage in numerous regional media, as well as the television report by Tele M1:

This is what the AZ reported:

Pioneer Louis Palmer makes the impossible possible.
The Brugg Group shares Louis Palmer’s vision of doing something for the future, wants to make a contribution, said Stephan Wartmann, CEO of the Brugg Group:

“We are convinced that the ideas and technologies are there. With profound innovations, we can create the energy turnaround together.”
The will is important. And the more pioneers are on the way – “flying ahead with the ‘Solar Butterfly‘” – the more people are willing to contribute, Wartmann added.

We strive to contribute to accelerating the transition to electric vehicles with our DC fast charging system solutions. For this reason, DC offers fast charging solutions for CCS-2 and soon also for CCS-1 plug systems. So that long charging processes will soon be a thing of the past.

We would like to thank all media representatives for participating in the event and for the many great contributions. We hope that they enjoyed the event as much as we and our employees did.
